Ph.D. candidate at Caltech
I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the California Institute of Technology, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2026.
I am currently on the academic job market, seeking positions beginning in July 2026 or later.
My research interests are in control theory, optimization, and machine learning. My current work uses reinforcement learning to perform dynamical decision-making.
My research is supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. I received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 2021.
At Caltech, I work in the Autonomous Robotics and Control Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Soon-Jo Chung.
